However, L4D is pretty much the perfect game for me right now. I can only grab small hunks of game time these days. An entire campaign of versus play in L4D lasts about an hour, max. There's no way I can commit the time needed to get anywhere in a game like WoW. Hell, I couldn't even do it when I wasn't a parent!

You should try killing zombies with automatic weapons rather than casting spells from your +11 Magic Elf Pants of Mythic Scorn. It's far more satisfying

I've got to say, I was pretty excited about this game until I saw it in action. There was some direct feed video a number of months ago that showed speedy bunny hop Quake-style gameplay and to tell the truth, it was pretty unappealing.
After spending quite a bit of time in Battlefield 2142, I find myself attracted to the sort of gameplay that places an emphasis on tactics and teamplay. Not to say that this doesn't exist in Huxley, but I didn't see a whole lot in the most recent video besides 40 mph Mario Brothers with guns.
