Heh, after reading my post I realized that it could be considered orthogonally insulting. I didn't mean to harsh on your game 🙂

However, L4D is pretty much the perfect game for me right now. I can only grab small hunks of game time these days. An entire campaign of versus play in L4D lasts about an hour, max. There's no way I can commit the time needed to get anywhere in a game like WoW. Hell, I couldn't even do it when I wasn't a parent!

It's great to see your site pop up in my RSS reader again. Welcome back!

You should try killing zombies with automatic weapons rather than casting spells from your +11 Magic Elf Pants of Mythic Scorn. It's far more satisfying 🙂

Do keep us in the loop as to how it is, within the bounds of the NDA of course 🙂

A recent email from Kafka made me realize how withdrawn I've become recently. In the spirit of becoming a more international communicator, here's some of the personal projects I've been working on in the last few months in chronological order:

All are Mudbox sculpts rendered in Modo. I find that the sculpting work I do on the computer and in clay support one another quite nicely.

(Say Kafka, how does one embed images in this forum?)

Oh yeah. Crysis.

I would *love* for this to have co-op play.

I've got to say, I was pretty excited about this game until I saw it in action. There was some direct feed video a number of months ago that showed speedy bunny hop Quake-style gameplay and to tell the truth, it was pretty unappealing.

After spending quite a bit of time in Battlefield 2142, I find myself attracted to the sort of gameplay that places an emphasis on tactics and teamplay. Not to say that this doesn't exist in Huxley, but I didn't see a whole lot in the most recent video besides 40 mph Mario Brothers with guns.

I would love to be proven wrong about this game.

Woot woot woot! Glad to see that there's a more formal structure in place for the discussion of these heady topics.

Anyone else here?
